Abstract Submission Has Now Closed
How to submit an abstract
Authors or organisations interested in submitting a paper for oral presentation, a poster or presenting a workshop are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 200 words outlining the aims, content and conclusions of their paper or presentation; or about their intended role in a workshop.
Additional information is required at the time of submitting an abstract. This information will be included, subject to the selection process, in the printed and publicly available Conference Handbook.
Additionally with your submission, please indicate if you will permit your presentation to be put up on the conference website after the event.
Please send your Abstract, biography and photo to Belinda McNab at belinda.mcnab@newcastle.edu.au by no later than 5pm on Thursday 9th July.
All proposals will be reviewed by the conference program committee. Presentations will be selected to provide a program that offers a comprehensive and diverse treatment of issues related to the Conference theme.
Authors will be notified by email of the outcome of their abstract submission.
Presenting authors for oral, poster and workshop presentations will be able to register for the conference for FREE but they must still register.

- A high resolution headshot (head and shoulder), 300dpi minimum. It will be physically printed as a 50mm x 60mm image. Please submit in jpeg, psd or PDF format
- Your contact information for delegates to see. This will be posted in the conference handbook which is publicly available
- A ten-line biography
- Research students should include details of their enrolment status and the title of their thesis project
